The Observer should know better. This article takes Alan Alford's debunking of the Atlantis myth and manages to drag in the Velikovskian lunacy by claiming it has long been acknowledged that "there is strong scientific evidence for the explosion of one or more planets in our solar system from about 427 to 347BC". I need hardly point out that this is total bollocks...
